I’m building a foundation

I’m 58 years old… Don’t take as long as I did to do this. Please… If you need a treatment facility. If you need someplace to go, call American Addiction Centers. They can help because they know the way home.

It’s a place that cares

When I arrived at the place, I felt like I was going to be okay… This place is dual-diagnosis so its not only drugs or alcohol but also depression or something else. I wanted to be treated… I feel really good now.

A Place to Practice Life

I 100% realized this is what I needed… You can’t change the past. Its understanding the past that this place has taught me.

I don’t want to be the person I was

I have got to fix me so I don’t drink and go back to old behavior. That is what I learned here. How to fix my behavior, how to deal with life… I’m confident about going home.

I understand why I have a problem

Any problem that I’ve ever had, drinking was involved… They give you the tools or help the build foundation to be successful when you leave.

This place saved my life

I was sick & tired of hurting my family. I was in denial big time… Finally I’m going uphill … Its the best decision of my life.

Physically & mentally, I feel stronger.

I got tired of seeing everyone smiling and being happy… asking myself “what are they so happy about?”. I want to feel that… It has changed my life. In some ways, it's saved me from me.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is smoking allowed at your drug and alcohol rehab center?

Yes, all of our rehab facilities have designated smoking areas. Please be aware you will need to bring your own cigarettes in an unopened pack or carton. Your family and friends can also send you cigarettes but they must be factory-sealed packs or cartons. Please double-check the rules when you talk to our staff or during check-in.

Do you accept pregnant women?

We generally accept pregnant women who are medically stable into our addiction treatment programs; however, it is up to the discretion of facility staff.

Will someone pick me up from home, the airport, or bus station?

Yes, we can provide transportation to our facility for inpatient alcohol and drug rehab and, in some cases, outpatient services. Please discuss details of travel and arrival times with us so we can make sure we are available to transport you.

Do you offer rehab translation services or programs in languages other than English?

We do offer translation services on as-needed basis. Some of our facilities are more likely to have a translator readily available. We are willing to work with anyone that is trying to get help with their addiction. In addition to spoken languages, we also offer ASL translation selectively. Please make sure to detail the need for a translator when speaking with us.

How much does drug and alcohol rehab cost? How do I pay for it? Will they accept my insurance? Do you accept Medicaid?

We offer a variety of ways to pay for addiction treatment. We accept many private insurance plans as well as offer options for paying out of pocket or with payment plans. You can learn more about paying for treatment here. We do not accept Medicaid or Medicare at the majority of our facilities but can work with you to set up payment plan that make addiction treatment affordable for you.
