C.J. Jemison, Clinical Manager at Desert Hope, is an Army veteran, Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor, Clinical Professional Counselor intern, and visiting lecturer at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas. For more than 20 years, Jemison has occupied a role in the field of human services, and for nearly a decade, he has been providing professional counseling for the treatment of mental health and addiction. Jemison oversees the Veterans program at Desert Hope Treatment Center where veterans learn about the disease of addiction, and co-occurring mental health conditions and develop the coping skills needed for a life in recovery. Jemison is currently working towards attaining a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology.
