Jeffrey Sutton, MS, LADC, CPC-Intern, is a dedicated and experienced behavioral health professional licensed in Nevada as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor and a Clinical Professional Counselor Intern.
He brings over a decade of clinical experience to his current role as Counselor III at Desert Hope Treatment Center in Las Vegas, where he provides comprehensive care for clients involved in various drug court programs at the PHP, IOP, and OP levels. His responsibilities include conducting individual therapy sessions, psychoeducational and process groups, and managing a diverse caseload of approximately 30 clients.
Jeffrey earned both his Master of Science in Counseling (2013) and his Bachelor of Science in Human Services, graduating Summa Cum Laude (2010) from California State University, Fullerton.
His career spans various roles at respected organizations such as Vegas Stronger, Crossroads of Southern Nevada, A Better Today, Beachside Recovery Center, and Phoenix House. His clinical duties have included biopsychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, case management, family therapy, and group facilitation.
Before committing fully to the counseling profession, Jeffrey held roles in community and skilled trades work, which helped shape his grounded, client-centered approach. His early internships at Amity Vista Ranch and Gerry House laid a strong foundation for working with justice-involved individuals and complex cases.
Jeffrey is known for his compassionate presence, practical therapeutic skills, and commitment to helping individuals navigate recovery and reclaim their lives. He remains passionate about advancing holistic, evidence-based care in addiction and mental health treatment.
