Vivian Betts is a passionate and committed social work professional currently serving as a CADA-Intern and Case Manager at Desert Hope Treatment Center. With a strong foundation in addiction recovery, case management, and client advocacy, Vivian brings over four years of experience in both residential and outpatient treatment settings. She excels in managing individualized care plans, facilitating recovery-focused groups, and conducting comprehensive assessments for trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders.
Prior to her current role, Vivian worked at The Fearless Kind Treatment for Women, where she served first as a Peer Support Specialist and later as a Residential Facility Manager. In these roles, she led de-escalation efforts, managed daily operations, coordinated aftercare services, and cultivated a supportive environment for women in recovery.
Vivian is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Social Work at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, with an expected graduation in May 2025, following an Associate of Arts degree from the College of Southern Nevada. Her practicum at Obodo Collective has further developed her skills in community planning, advocacy, urban agriculture, and grant writing.
She is adept in using healthcare systems to monitor client progress and maintain accurate documentation. Vivian is known for her empathetic approach, calm leadership style, and unwavering commitment to empowering individuals in recovery.
