Sabrina Sweat, CADC-I, is a dedicated counselor intern at Desert Hope Treatment Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. With a strong background in substance use and mental health treatment, Sabrina brings both clinical expertise and deep compassion to her work with individuals in recovery.

She currently serves in multiple roles at Desert Hope, including Clinical Case Manager, Ambassador, and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor Intern. In these roles, she facilitates group therapy sessions, provides crisis intervention, and supports clients through every phase of treatment—from intake to discharge.

Sabrina is known for her ability to build meaningful connections with clients, helping them develop effective relapse prevention strategies and long-term behavioral change. She collaborates closely with medical professionals, social workers, and community partners to ensure clients receive the most comprehensive care possible.

Prior to her work in behavioral health, Sabrina held leadership roles in workforce development and operations management, where she was recognized with multiple customer service awards.

Her academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She is a proud member of the Psi Chi Honor Society and a McNair Scholar.

Outside of work, Sabrina remains active in the Las Vegas community through volunteer efforts, particularly those supporting the LGBTQ+ community and local food banks. Her passion, professionalism, and advocacy continue to make a lasting impact on the lives she touches.
