Latosha Pace is a passionate and experienced mental health professional with a Master’s in Social Work (MSW) and a strong foundation in communication and physical education through her B.A. in University Studies. With over a decade of diverse experience across therapeutic, residential, and educational settings, she brings a comprehensive, compassionate, and team-centered approach to client care and program leadership.
Currently serving as a Counselor Intern at Desert Hope since December 2022, she conducts clinical assessments, develops individualized treatment and discharge plans, and facilitates therapeutic group sessions. She emphasizes ethical practice and maintains strong professional boundaries while promoting client progress and healing.
Previously, she served as a Program Manager at Pinnacle Community Services, where she supervised more than 30 staff, managed program operations, and ensured high-quality documentation and reporting standards. Her ability to foster communication among stakeholders and implement effective training programs made a lasting impact on staff development and client outcomes.
Her background also includes impactful work as a Social Worker within the Clark County School District (CCSD), where she supported emotionally disturbed students through crisis intervention, verbal de-escalation, and holistic case management. Additional roles in residential care settings, including Village Supervisor at Child Help and Mental Health Technician, further highlight her ability to lead, mentor, and support vulnerable populations.
A former UNLV Women’s Basketball athlete, she brings teamwork, resilience, and discipline into her professional roles. Her experience is further enriched by her work as a tutor, mentor, and treatment home provider, showcasing her lifelong commitment to community care and empowerment.
