Michelle Cicconi Storm, CADC, is a seasoned and compassionate counselor currently serving at Desert Hope Treatment Center’s outpatient facility in Las Vegas. With a range of experience spanning two decades, Michelle brings a diverse background and a commitment to helping individuals on their journey to recovery.

Michelle graduated magna cum laude with a degree in psychology from East Stroudsburg University, providing her with a solid foundation for understanding the complexities of human behavior.

Her professional journey began by providing therapeutic support to children with autism and conduct disorders in Pennsylvania. Upon relocating to Nevada in 2010, Michelle continued her dedication to mental health as a psychosocial rehabilitation specialist, demonstrating her versatility in addressing a range of mental health disorders.

Driven by a passion for addiction medicine, Michelle began working toward her Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) license in 2018. This marked a pivotal point in her career as she began specializing in substance use disorder (SUD) treatment.

In recognition of her leadership and dedication, Michelle was appointed Assistant Director of Sober Living for Strong Minds Behavioral Health in 2020. In 2023, Michelle achieved a significant milestone by obtaining her full CADC, solidifying her expertise in addiction counseling.

Michelle is also a certified anger management counselor.

Michelle’s guiding philosophy is that: “Perfection is unattainable, strive for better,” which reflects her realistic and supportive approach to counseling. She believes in meeting clients where they are in their journey and empowering them to leverage their strengths for personal growth.
