Outpatient Therapy Types
Our core curriculum, Embracing Change: Recovery for Life, serves as the foundation for your treatment, along with other types of researched-based therapies and techniques for achieving long-term recovery from addiction.
Each customized treatment plan at Desert Hope Outpatient is based on the comprehensive evaluation and individual needs assessment you’ll receive at admission. We’ll re-assess your needs periodically throughout your treatment and adjust your level of care and treatment plan to best support you as you recover. Utilizing the Strengths Needs Abilities Preferences (SNAP), we’ll help you learn to recognize the changes and choices you’ll need to make to create the life of recovery you want.
While you’re here, you’ll participate in recovery-oriented services according to your individual treatment plan, co-occurring mental health disorders, assigned level of care, and aftercare recovery plan. Recovery-beneficial addiction therapies include:
- Individual Therapy
- Group Therapy
- Family Therapy
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Recovery-Oriented Challenge Therapeutic Activities
- Expressive Arts Therapy
- Wellness Focused Curriculum
- Aftercare Recovery Group & Skill Building
